The Schools of the Polytechnic University of Setúbal are located on the Setúbal campus and on the Barreiro campus, in modern buildings, designed and built from scratch for the operation of higher education courses, occupying privileged architectural spaces and forming a harmonious set, surrounded by the gardens and the natural landscape. All buildings have auditoriums and amphitheatres, classrooms, laboratories, documentation and IT centres and multimedia rooms that provide multiple IT equipment, specialized software, internet access and a wireless network with free access in all the campuses. Lisbon International Airport and the Portuguese capital itself are just a 40-minute drive from Setúbal and Barreiro is just a boat crossing over the Tagus.
